Fag Bug

I was searching Google for some rainbow automobile pictures to use in this blog, and came across this image:

I, obviously, loved the paint job, but had no idea the story behind it. So I did some reading. It turns out that this car (originally a dark blue/gray color), owned by Erin Davies, was vandalized several years ago. Some jerk spray painted "fag" and "ur gay" on her car, just because she had a rainbow gay pride sticker on it. Instead of getting the graffiti removed, she used the car as a statement. She made a cross-country trip, graffiti and all, to speak and educate people about hate crimes. And at the end of her trip, Volkswagon (who supported her fully), gave her this awesome paint job so that she could continue her good work. She even made a documentary about her experiences.
