After seven goblins try to steal it, the Rainbow is careful never again to touch the earth.
This children's book was first published in 1978, and is still loved by children and adults alike. Apart from the unique story, the museum-quality artwork is simply breathtaking!
After my husband bought a copy for me, he did some research on the author and artist. It turns out that Ul de Rico is a great lover of rainbows and did artwork for one of my all-time favorite movies: The Neverending Story!! Here's an example :)
Learn more about Ul de Rico on his website. And you can purchase the book here :)
EDIT: Mr. Garrioch linked me to this awesome read-along video of The Rainbow Goblins!

ahhhhh, rainbows. :)
Wow, I just found your website, and it is amazing! So glad to see it's pure color amazingness (as opposed to relating it to 'gays') I have always LOVED rainbow-colored things.. your website makes me happy! Thanks for spreading cheer.
Molto bello il tuo blog! Vorrei publicizzarlo sul mio sito, che ho creato da poco "http://incucinaperhobby.blogspot.it/". Se ti fa piacere! Attendo una gentile risposta.
